The strawberry is good, the strawberry-rhubarb even better. The local berries aren't particularly sweet this year but I've always thought less sweet berries make for better jam. Now if I can get a batch of fromage blanc made this week...

Ironically, actually harvesting and utilizing my produce in a timely way has become one of the biggest challenges for me in my garden. With just 2 of us, the balance between growing enough of any vegetable or fruit to make a serving, but not so much that it goes to waste, is turning out to be a challenge.
Can I order some of that strawberry-rhubarb? I'm drooling!
